Hans Gude Norwegian painter is one of the most popular Norwegian painters. He is known to be among Norway's best landscape artists. He is also known to have been part of the national Romanticist movement. He is also recognized as a leader of the Dusseldorf School of art.
He started his career as an artist at a very early age and showed great passion in it. His family was involved in trade and he learned about how to paint. He was fascinated with all types of art and spent his early years learning various methods of painting from his father. He started showing interest in landscape painting while still in his teens.
Hans Gude Norwegian painter was influenced by several artists such as Johannes Christian Dahl, Peter Paul Rubens, and Christoph Niemann. He is also a big fan of the American Impressionists. He learned from many of these artists. The most important influences are Christian Dahl, Peter Paul Rubens and Hans Memling. As a matter of fact, many of his paintings were inspired by these artists. In fact, the style of his work was similar to that of Dahl's work.
It was the Impressionists that really influenced his art. Hans Gude used many of their ideas in his paintings. His paintings include pictures of nature such as waterfalls, mountains, trees, and flowers. Most of his paintings are focused on beautiful scenes of nature.
Hans Gude was part of the famous art group called the 'Dahl Family' which was headed by Johannes Christian Dahl, the famous painter. He became a member of this group in 1920. Hans was also a close friend of Paul Klee, another famous painter. When both of them met, they immediately hit it off and they became close friends. They would often meet and share their thoughts and ideas.
Hans Gude and Paul Klee were part of the 'Berlin Group' which is another famous group of painters, which includes Rubens, Hans Memling, and Christian Dahl. These three artists helped form the 'Danish Modernism' movement in Norway.
